dial-up internet connection, speed dropped from 56 to 33.2?

Hello, ever since ive installed SP2 on my WinXP Machine, my internet dials
up at only roughly 33k a sec instead of 56k. Does anyone know why? i dont
really want to uninstall SP2:(

thanks for your help, but any drivers i try to install, i get a message
saying windows cannot find a better match for your hardware than aleready
installed :(

ah i speak too soon, i used the manual driver isntall thingy, the let me
chosoe one, and now its up to 50.6, yay
