I would like to know where i can buy a diagnostic(Pci) card thats
shows hardware errors.

They're known as POST Diagnostic Cards I think, and you could try ebay, or
your local computer/electronics store.. probably better luck finding one
online..

Just to inject a comment, I found that these post diagnostics cards are not
always reliable in their results. Maybe, my experience is wide spread, and
this is why they are difficult to find???

Just to inject a comment, I found that these post diagnostics cards are
not
always reliable in their results. Maybe, my experience is wide spread, and
this is why they are difficult to find???

You're correct, they can tell if there is a fault with the way the PC is
handling its PCI (or ISA) slots, but they cant really reverse diagnose
problems that arent associated with those slots, or that are occuring on
other connect cards.
