I have been running my Windows XP PC with no problems. I connected to AOL 9
(this may be a coincidence) but since then my computer has started to
'crawl' and is unusable. Even after a reboot it is still slow. I have run
Ad-Aware and Norton AntiVirus but this did not find anything.
In desperation I started to end processes in Task Manager and found that if
I stopped DHCP32.exe then my computer bounced back into life immediately.
Does anyone know what this file does? Can I remove it permenantly? How would
I go about doing this - as everytime I reboot it comes back.
Thanks,
Jason
