Hi!

I have one question... Does DHCP Server in Windows 2000 or Windows 2003
support DHCP option 82 (DHCP Relay Agent Information Option, RFC 3046)

I can't find it in the "configure options..." section. Is there a way to add
this option?

Thanx, Gorjan

Hi Danilo,

Thanx for your quick responce. I read the article but I stil think that this
won't take care of my problem. I wondered if I could use my existing dhcp
server for that purpose. I cannot use the DHCP Relay Agent component on a
computer running the DHCP service so I would have to add a DHCP Relay
Agent... I thought that I could find option 82 in the preconfigured server
options (like
003 Router, 015 DNS Somain Name etc...). I know there's a way to take
advantage of the Relay agent info by using Cisco Network Register (Cisco
Systems' DHCP Server) but I don't know if Microsoft supports it. Is there any
other way (apart from configuring a DHCP Relay Agent) to use option 82?

Thanx again...
