DHCP Scopes

Hi,

I would like to create 2 DHCP scopes for clients. The scopes will sit on
one DHCP server to service to different 10.x.x.x address ranges. The
question is: how do I direct clients on two different segments to a specific
pool when the pools are on the same DHCP box? The network segments are
separated by layer 3 aware switches. I need to make sure that clients on
segment 'A' get one scope and clients on 'B' get the other.

Thx,
Reg

You can do it with routers, but not, so far as I am aware, with
switches. DHCP server work on a "first to reply" basis. The first
response (IP address offer) to a DHCP request that a client receives
is accepted.
