Device Update Agent startup

The DUAgent doesn't start up on my image. When I try to start it using 'net
start' it reports logon failure 1069. It is configured to run as
Administrator and is polling a local drive.

Any ideas?

Do you see any relevant info being logged in the Event log?

The event log has no mention of the Device Update Agent nor 1069. Neither
does the FBAlog for that matter. Also, my image doesn't contain the MMC
snap-in app that MSDN suggests to use to start the DUAgent.

If you don't have MMC snap-in, how do you check the Event Log?
Copying it to XP Pro machine?

To view the log I used a copy of eventvwr that I smuggled onto the XPE box
via a thumbdrive. The google groups link looks promising!
