Device synchronisation

When I synchronise my Sony-Ericsson P910i with Outlook, I get a dialog box
which says "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in
Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"

I would like to intercept this dialog box and confirm the connection
automatically. I would also like to verify the application making the
request (by name?) to make sure it is the one I expect.

I am used to working with VBA for Access, Excel and Word, but I don't know
the relevant components of Outlook to check.

Can anyone help, please?

There are no relevant components in Outlook to check. The solution is to upgrade your sync software to a version that doesn't trigger security prompts. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm

problem is unaviodable'.

Never the less, your answer is helpful as I now know I can't fix the
'problem' myself!

Sony-Ericsson is giving you the lazy answer. The problem certain is avoidable by writing their sync application with Extended MAPI as all the other sync software manufacturers do. I'd complain if I were you.
