Device Manager

I am trying to load the driver for a new piece of hardware va the
device manager. However, when I select UpdateDriver, I do not get the
Welcome to Hardware Update Wizard. . Can anyone tell me what I am
missing?

Hi Sharon -
Try adding to your configuration the "Add Hardware Control Panel"
component to your runtime, redeploy, and see if it then starts up for you.
As an additional gotcha - make sure that the device type you're trying to
add has its appropriate Class Installer to your configuration. To do this
simply add the "Class Installers / Hardware Compatibility" component to your
runtime *OR* lower your visibility to 200 (Tools -> Options -> Advanced Tab)
and add the specific one you require.
