Device failure

I have been having problems with device failure.
I have tried using 8.5, 8.7, 8.9 and still have the same problem.
I have to restart the computer to get things back to normal. It usually
happens when watching TV for a hour or less.

Shuttle sb75
3.06 intel
1 gig 2700 mem
AIW 9800 pro
