Device driver problem on Asus - P5WDG2-WS

All,
I was hoping someone might be able to help me with device driver
problem with a clean Vista installation. My motherboard is an Asus -
P5WDG2-WS.

During a clean installation Vista recognize all of my system hardware
except for one device which it is listed as:

Other Devices\Serial ATA Controller.

Serial ATA Controller Properties:

Device type - other devices
manufacturer - unknown
location - PCI bus 2, device 0, function 0

I'm not exactly sure whether this is related to the problem but I am
also giving an error message in the system log(see below).

Besides my graphics card which is an NVIDIA GeFource 7600 GT, I don't
have anything else plugged in to PCI/PCI express/serial ATA slots.

If anyone has run into this before or has a clue as to what this might
be a would appreciate any assistance. Thanks in advance. - CES

I have the P5-WDG2 WS _Pro, so it's probably the same issue.

Click on the offending device and update the driver. Point it to the
AIBooster folder from the CD (or better still, from the website). In
the AIBooster folder there are ACPI and ACPI64 folders; point to
whichever is appropriate for your 9ACPI64 in my case).

You don't need to install AIBooster, but the ACPI drivers are in the
AIBooster folder.
