Development use and software kit ?

Hi

I'm a new beginner, I want to know if we can use Windows XP Embedded for PDA
like small device or some special purpose . By MS information I know Windows
XP Embedded enables us to rapidly develop reliable and full-featured
connected devices. Another question is that does it have some Development Kit
like Windows CE Platform Builder ?

Thank you .

Windows XP Embedded can only run on x86 processors. Most PDAs use RISC
processors. There are Ultra mobile PCs (www.tabletkiosk.com /
www.sjjmicro.com ) that can run XP Pro Tablet Edition and can run XPe too.

There is a development kit for XPe. You can download a demo version from the
Windows XP Embeddded website: msdn.microsoft.com/embedded
