I have a protected worksheet where the user tabs through
cells. They need to enter some personal details then
further down figures for income (left hand side of
spreadsheet) and expenditure (right hand side of
spreadsheet) The cursor moves through unprotected cells
fine for the top part of the worksheet .

What I want to do is make it move down the expenditure
side then go to top of income side and run down that
column. Is there any way to do this?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks!

If in a left to right, top to bottom sequence, the TAB key will move through
the order.

In your case, you want to go down a column then up to top of another to the
right.

If in a top to bottom sequence, if using Excel 2002 or 2003,
when protecting the sheet you have the option of setting only "select unlocked
cells".

The <ENTER> key can then be set to move down after entry.

When you reach last unlocked cell in the left column, the cursor will go to
top of next unlocked column.
