On a bound form if you have the "Navigation buttons" turned on, at the
bottom of the form you can move back and forth between the records and you
also see what current record number is "of" whatever the number of records
is in the currently selected recordset/filter etc... (ie... record 1 of 10)
If you were building your own filter based on user selected criteria and you
wanted to display the total number of records I know you can use the
"me.recordsetclone.recordcount" to display the total number of records...
However, as the user moves back and forth between those records, how do you
display the record number the user is on??? Example... if there are 10
records in the filter (based on teh criteria) , I want to display "record 1
of 10", then when they click "next rec", I would then display "record 2 of
10" etc.....
