Detecting browser prefered language.

Hello,

I have two version of a site. I need to redirect users based on the language
i think the speak/understand.

Any idea how to best do this?

Setting user preferences without asking the user is one of the most annoying
things. The best solution is to allow the user to choose and store the
choice in a cookie.
