Detailsview Help?

I am trying to use the detailsview control on a form. The record
consists of id, customerid, timestamp and a few other informational
pieces. What i want to know is the customerid and the timestamp do not
have to be shown to the user adding, editing or removing records. I do
not know how to add what i would call a hidden field to do this.

If you have 2 fields that you do not want to show to the user, then you can
add them to the DataKeyNames on the FormView which you can access in the
CodeBehind using the following syntax:

FormView1.DataKey.Values[0] and FormView1.DataKey.Values[1]
