Details/Preview Pane within Folder View gone

So here is a link for you to see

http://www.larrytolman.com/DetailsPane.jpg

At the bottom of the folder it gives you details on the file, do you see
what I'm talking about?

Now how on earth do you get it back?? I've tried restoring defaults of the
Folder Layout like 4 times and even closed the folder and went back in,
nothing.

I cannot for the life of me get the "details pane" back

Now also I would like to know how to get the "preview" option inside the
folder as well.

You know that theres a way? If one opens up their Video folder; theres a way
that a windows media player will show on the right hand side of the folder;
the video is very small but at least its a preview.

So my question is; how does one aquire that? I cannot figure it out at al.

I need help please, and thanks

Hi, Itolman.

One answer: Organize | Layout...

From here you can toggle on or off the Menu Bar, the Details Pane, the
Preview Pane and the Navigation Pane.

(You nearly cost me MY details pane! :( I right-clicked on it and turned
it off easily. Then I was like you and couldn't turn it back on until I
clicked around and finally found Organize | Layout. I knew it was there
somewhere because I've done it before, but I couldn't remember and had to
hunt for it.)

Its different depending on the Shell folder you are in. Based on the
attached immage, thats an audio folder. As for the preview pane with Video,
click Organize > Layout > Preview Pane. You will find the Details Pane at
the same location.
