Detaching from Lotus Notes

When detaching a power point presentation from Lotus Notes
to a Novell server it detaches as a text file not a Power
Point presentation. Any Ideals?

I have discovered that many types of files might be corrupted with lotus
notes.
I always create a .zip or a .sit file, or most any type of archive format
package, and this would protect the file untill the user on the other side
uncompresses it.
