Destop icons

Somehow my desktop icons changed from being small to large. What steps need
to be taken to restore small icons? Many Thanks, David.
 
david,
right click on your desktop and go to properties.
under the display properties windows go to the appearance tab on the top.
click on the effects button.
uncheck use large icons, and see whether that works
