Desperatly need help!!!!!

I had this bright idea to upgrade my office 200 to 2007 and now I can't edit
ANY documents!!!!!!!!

Someone please help me. I need to know how to unlock documents. I have tried
to do the unprotect thing and it doesnt work. I have tried to look in the
help section and it isn't very helpful at all.

Please HELP!!!! Deadline to meet!!!!!!

Hi Jessy,

If you've restored your documents from a backup CD, for example, they'll have a read-only attribute set by Windows. You can remove
that attribute by:
.. selecting the file(s) in Windows Explorer
.. right-clicking the mouse
.. selecting 'Properties' and
.. unchecking the read-only check box on the 'General' tab.
