Hi,
My desktop is set to "Windows Classic" modified.

However, every once in a while, when I boot, it becomes XP desktop. It
doesn't happen all the time, perhaps just once on every 6 or 7 boot.

I used to change the desktop apperance each time, but I've found out that it
can actually revert to my preferred saved settings on reboot.

Can anyone tell me why XP is behaving as such? And how to get XP to boot to
my desktop each time.

R.click the desktop,properties,customize,web,chk the box "Lock desktop items"
