Does anybody know how to change the desktop wallpaper remotely on another
computer? I would like it to change instantly and not when the computer
boots up? Can it be done through a registry change?

Thanks,
Jasper

Yes it can be done through the registry, but will not take
affect until the user logs on the next time.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
;the current user's wallpaper
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"Wallpaper"="C:\\WinNt\\ThePictureName.bmp"

and

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
;the default (or loggin) wallpaper
[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]
"Wallpaper"="C:\\WinNt\\ThePictureName.bmp"
