Desktop wallpaper lost after XP Home reinstallation

After doing a reformat of my HD and reinstallation of XP Home, I noticed that many of my desktop wallpaper images were lost.

How do I get them back?
 
If you did a format then they are gone. That is what a format does. It
deletes everything on the drive, so you can install clean.
