Description:
To provide computer desktop support for DOT employees to include, but not
limited to, all end user hardware and software, network connectivity and
data management. To provide reports on research of new technologies as
assigned. To provide documentation on procedures as assigned. To provide
reports on assigned projects.
REQUIRED
Candidate will have proficient knowledge of DOS, Windows 9X, Windows NT4
workstation, Windows 2000, Microsoft Office 97 suite, PC compatible hardware
and peripherals, network cards, network printers and other LAN connected
devices. Knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP is required. Candidate must
have excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
Desired-
To have knowledge or experience with 3270 mainframe emulation, SAP, and
Netscape mail/calendar. Knowledge of Digital Cameras and PDA's is also
desirable. The preferred candidates will have experience working in a DOT
type environment.
