Desktop shortcut

Hi,
I have secured database 97 located in share drive. And
then I splited it manually. It works.

Here is the website where I learned to secure databases.
http://www.jmwild.com/security97.htm

I created a new workgroup file (BRITTANY.MDW) and stored
in the same place as the secured database.

I created shortcut in my desktop to access the database.

The target: "Path to msaccess.exe" "path to
mdb" /wrkgrp "path to secure mdw."

Everything is fine when I use my computer.

Since I want many users can access the database which I
secured and splited on share drive, I tried to create
another desktop shortcut in my friend computer. I received
the message "Microsoft Access couln't find [the path to
mdb and the path to secure mdw]. The file is required for
startup".

Sorry for any mistakes that I made because English is my
second language. I know it is hard for you to understand
me.

Thank you
Loi

Possibilities:

* You might have used mapped drive in the command-line for the Shortcut and
your friend's PC may have a different mapping than yours.

* Your friend may not have enough (network) permission to the Folder and
files in the Folder.
