desktop shortcut arrows disappeared

For one user only, on a winXP system, the arrows on the desktop shortcut
icons have diappeared. I prefer to see them.

I am aware of the registry setting in HKEY_CLASES_ROOT/lnkfile (IsShortcut)
that TweakUI removes to make them disappear. My registry has
HKEY_CLASES_ROOT/lnkfile IsShortcut set to REG_SZ.

Any thoughts appreciated.

If you've used TweakUI, set the "Shortcut Overlay" to "Arrow". Note that the shortcut arrow can be hidden without using TweakUI as well (and without the IsShortcut method).
