Desktop short cuts

I have mutiple internet short cuts on my desktop and
after I open one and then the second uses the same window
as the first. Is there a way to have each short cut open
a new window instead of using the same?

Try this:

From the IE menu, click on Tools | Internet Options | Advanced [tab]. Under
Browsing, scroll down to "Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts", deselect it
(clear check with mouse cursor), then click on the Apply and OK buttons.

shortcuts">Apply>OK out.
