My personal wallpaper "disappeared" one day & is now only replaced by an
off-white blank screen. Desktop Icons & start menu bar, etc all still there.
Everything else on comp works fine, but when I right click on desktop &
choose Properties, it only pops up with 1 tab = General. Which then lists
everything about the so-called wallpaper or dekstop details as "unavailable"
It also seems to think its a HTML doc (the blank whote screen that is).
Does anyone have an answer or suggestion? It's not a matter of
active/disabled desktop & I've checked everywhere else - even ran virus scans
& ad-ware destroyers, etc. My husband swears this "incident" occurred only
after he typed www.google.com to start a search - he said it made the monitor
flash white a second & then here it is. Poof! I can't change the wallpaper
whatsoever!
Help!!
