Desktop is upside down??

My friend had an old monitor. One day she turned on her computer and the desktop was upside down. She just turned the monitor over and used it that way for about a year.

Now her monitor quit working so she borrowed one from a neighbor. The picture is upside down on that monitor too!

Does anyone know of a software or hardware problem that would cause the desktop to be upside down?

You need to tell us what brand of video card or adapter you have.
If you happen to have a NVIDIA card or adapter, right-click on
your desktop and select:

Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce (tab) > NVRotate
and change the setting to "Landscape (0 degree rotation)".

I don't know if she has a NVIDIA adapter but I will forward your suggestion.
 
Many systems have a command in the display
properties/advanced that allow rotation. There are also
prank and virus programs that do this too.

What's this message about? I'm getting really pissed off with people
