desktop.ini in Quicklaunch folder

In my Quicklaunch folder I have got a file called desktop.ini which
contains:

[LocalizedFileNames]
Launch Internet Explorer [email protected],-11003
Windows Media Player.lnk=@C:\WINDOWS\inf\unregmp2.exe,-4

Why is there a line about Windows Media Player?

What does the Launch line have to do with the Quicklaunch menu?

As the heading says, this is to localize the file names. So if you have
a localized version of XP, the name of the shortcut will be translated
to match your localization while the actual path to the executable
doesn't have to change.
