Desktop Icons & Taskbar Are Invisible

Hi To All!

Why are my desktop icons & taskbar not appearing in the desktop? You can't
even right-click on it. Is this a virus attack? How do I correct this?
I'm running on Windows XP Home Edition & have done virus scan, spyware scan
& run registry mechanic but to no avail.
Pls reply soonest. THANKS.

I've got the same problem... if you get an answer please let me know.... I
haven't been able to fix this for months.
