OK.....I'm a long-time XP user....Dell 2.8 ghz, 1.5 mb RAM, etc.
I recently switched video cards....ATI 9800 Pro.
Suddenly, my desktop icons revert to a "sorted" position upon boot-up.
Looks like a "align to grid", but not quite. Handling desktop icons is
something I learned long ago....(I even know what DOS is).....so being
stumped is stumpifying! Thanks for your help....
Yes, I've right-click on the desktop and no, I do NOT have "align to grid",
"auto arrange", or anything else checked in the menu. I've tried and
tried.....alas, it keeps realigning every time I boot. A pain, to say the
least.
Oh....also ran Norton Utilities Win-Fix, etc.
Nothing fixes....
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
