Desktop Icon

all the versions of Outlook I've owned implemented an icon (not a shortcut)
on the desktop to launch the application. i resently upgraded to xp
professional and Office 2003 and i didn't get the icon. where in the
operating system do i indicate that i want to cinfigure an Outlook icon to
appear on my desktop?
 
Since WinXP includes the mail program icon in the Start Menu and on the
QuickLaunch bar, one isn't placed on the desktop. I think you're going to
have to add a shortcut if you want Outlook on your desktop.
