Desktop folder error

Whenever I click any folder on the desktop, I get an
error saying "This file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action. Create an
association in the Folder Options control panel."
Obviously, I can't create an association because these
are folders, not files. Please help.

Andy, click on MyComputer>select Tools>Folder Options>click General
Tab>make sure that Double click to open is selected and click Apply, Ok. Or
switch to Single Click and see if that works.

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
