Is it possible to have the day (ie Mon/Tue etc) showing on the clock that
appears on the desk top.

Using win xp home.

Yes, if you increase the size of the taskbar.

1. Unlock the taskbar if it is locked
2. Click down with the left button on the top of the bar and drag up.
