Desktop Background

When I first installed Windows XP Pro, I could go into the Display
Properties and set my background. The list of available backgrounds would
be pulled from a couple different places -- the main spot being "My
Pictures" folder.

Now, however, "My Pictures" are not one of the sets of images listed as
available background images anymore. How do I fix this?

Thanks

I'm not on my home computer (which has XP), but on a 2000
OS, at the moment ... I'm trying to remember if XP has a
folder called C:\WINNT (perhaps even WINDOWS) .. that is
where your Background (*.bmp) files will load from. I've
never known them to ever load from any other place. You
can, however, hit the 'browse' button while in desktop
setup and look for anything *.bmp .. but .. you have to
pretty much know in advance where you are going, which by
doing a Search (first), and finding their location(s).
