Desktop Background Question

Somebody loaded a pornographic picture from the Internet onto my computer. They then proceeded to set it as my Background or Screen Saver. Anyway, I changed it back to something else, but now when I shut down and/or start up, the picture resurfaces for about 5-10 seconds and then disappears. I never really knew the name of the file and I don't see anything strange on the lists to delete. Is there any way to stop this without recreating the user account

I would think that it is virus related, but I think that has happened to me before at home just using pictures of my family. In other words, I have seen pictures get suck like this before

Turn off active desktop. When you set a graphic other then a .bmp, MS turns
on the active desktop to display. If you then pic a .bmp pic, it just lays
it overtop of the .jpg, but active desktop is still on. So when booting
up/down Windows will show the Active Desktop background for a little bit
before it throws up the one you selected.
