Desk top icons fail to launch target

Hi,

Win2K Sp4. Older Pentium Pro200 system but very stable.

Last action was loading drivers for wireless cell phone connectivity.

Googled for solutions but coudn't find much.

Deleted a recreated icons - no go.

Deleted icon cache file - no go.

Any other suggestions ?

Opps - turned out the double click "speed" was maxed out under mouse
properties.

Opps - turned out the double click "speed" was maxed out under mouse
properties.

Just goes to show once again that the keyboard is mightier than the
mouse: you can move around the desktop with the arrow keys, then hit
Enter to launch.
