Design View (How to get "Total:" in matrix)

Reviewing the work of others so to mimic their technique,
I noticed in the ??matrix?? window in the Design View that the (top
four) options were:

Field:
Table:
Total:
Sort:

How did my predecesor get the option Total: to appear?


Background: The query I wish to mimic is a query based upon a query.
The initial query does not have the Total: option whereas the
higher-level query does.

Would someone please explain how I can get the Total: (or other
options) to show up in the Design View for Queries?

I assume you are talking about a query?

If so, click the "Totals" icon in your toolbar. I think it is a symbol
called "sigma". It looks sort of like a capitol "E".

Yes to "Query" and Thanks. I also found out via a "Right Click" within
the matrix of Design View.
