design view disabled in NorthwindCS.adp for views

When I open NorthwindCS.adp in Access 2000 all I can
obtain is datasheet view for views (and tables) - the
design view feature is disabled. Is there something I
should have done that I didn't? So far I copied all the
files in the ···/Office/Samples folder from the Office
2000 installation disk (files that ended with "CS" that
is) to the ···/Office/Samples folder of my hard drive.
All the tables, views, etc. are present in the database
when I open it, but the tables and views are in a "read-
only" mode. Any suggestions? Thank you, Edward.
