Can anyone suggest what to do to fix this problem. I have managed to put a discussion group up on the web. It seems to be working fine up until the point you try to post a reply in which case an error message comes up that says You don't have permission to access /"Mysitenamehere"/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/disc2_post.htm on this server

What I don't understand is that anyone can access the site to post a message, but it won't allow replies. Can I change something in the script to fix this

Have your host check the site permissions

Thanks for the advice. My host will not tell me the site permissions. She said they don't "support this software", but I'm not sure what she meant. Is there any way I can adjust this so that people can reply to my discussion web?

were I you, I'd get myself a new host pronto. when looking for a host try
to get yourself on a windows server with the proper fp extensions which are
maintained and understood by the server admins.
I've recommended http://geo-hosting.com they're cheap and decent to deal
with. I use their sister companies services as a reseller.
If you'd like advanced hand holding you can host with me. ;-)

Sound like the host doesn't support the FP extensions, in which case none of
the FP run-time component will work.

I have been having similar problems with the canned "feedback" site -- when I submit a comment, I am asked to log in as administrator. I assume this is the same issue
