Thanks for your response.
My computer battery died, (out of warranty) and from what I gathered from
the 9300 manual there is more than one battery. The normal lithium and also
a coin-sized battery and if so, I need to know which to replace.
The coin-sized battery is simply to maintain basic CMOS settings in BIOS
memory. Keeps it alive. That's not the main power source for the machine.
It's the other, much larger battery that you want to replace. You only
replace the coin-sized one if your CMOS settings get reset to default every
time you boot up (and you get notified.)
As far as I remember, recall models do not restrict to those within warranty
(but don't take my words for it). So if your model is one of them, you may
just get a new one
Otherwise, you could also ask where to buy one and how to replace it.
Good luck and hope this helps.
