Delivery receipt

I can get "read" receipts for the email I send. On
occasion, I need only to know that the email has been
delivered. However, when I follow the "help"
instructions the receipt does not come back. I have
tested it with email addresses within my LAN and outside
of the LAN with the same result ... no receipt.

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated

Not all ISPs will do read receipts....

Many ISPs will not send delivery receipts because they could be used by
spammers trying to discover valid email addresses.
