Deletion problems regarding folders and files

Hi All

Really hope you can help. Have spent last 7 hours trying to sort this and
have run out of ideas other than a full re-install.

Whenever I right click on a folder/ file the window stops responding and the
only way to get rid of it is to go to the task manager and end task. This
also occurs if I press delete on any file or folder. I can copy files/folders
and view them as per normal but any attempt to change results in the
folder/file window freezing (although if I update a file i.e. word document)
this does not seem cause a freeze).

I have scanned the computer from top to bottom with Mcafee/AVG/Symantec and
Adaware/ Spybot and nothing has been picked up. I use Zonealarm in conjunctio
with Mcafee all the time and I haven't installed anything recently. I have
even used the SFC command in command prompt to try see if any protected files
had been corrupted.

The only clue might be in that I have two partitions on the HD and C:/ [2GB]
which contains a non-activated copy of my windows is constantly stating that
it is running out of space (from 2 days ago). Nothing on the scans though.

Any ideas much appreciated

Start here:

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers -

Right click causes an error and crashes Explorer.exe after installing
