For the kazillionth time, I'm trying to clean up my daughter's computer from
months of teenager-abuse (my grandaughter is the guilty one mostly) and I'm
at the point where I know what I should do: I will be the system
administrator, so I can protect my daughter's family from themselves,
they're so reckless and computer-challenged, it's a horrible unorganized
mess!

My question is: If I delete a user, do all of their pictures, documents,
etc. get deleted too? If so, I will burn all of these things to a CD first.
My goal is to set myself up as the system administrator (since their
computer always comes back to me when there's a problem) and create
individual profiles (with certain controls :-) for each of them.

Help, suggestions?

Thanks all!

When you delete a user in the Control Panel applet it will ask you if
you want to delete their files. I would backup the files they want to
keep first and then delete the user and files.
