If you have added any third-party screensaver program, remove it from
Add/Remove programs applet in Control Panel. For Windows XP default
screensavers, find all *.scr files (usually in c:\windows\system32) folder
and delete it.
Better yet, start>search>type '*.scr' and enter. Use the ctrl key while left
clicking to selectively highlight multiple screensavers that you don't want, and
press delete.
