Deleting "United States of America" from each contact

How can I quickly and efficiently delete the "United States of America" from all my contact addresses. It automatically appears by default. 99.9% of my contacts are in the USA and I would like to remove this default setting. Is there a single place where I can set to delete this and have it apply to all my contact addresses.
