Deleting the text without deleting the formula

I have input formulas into 4 worksheets in 1 workbook. For example in
worksheet 1 I have it so D4 automatically populates into D100 and D175, not
only in the 1st worksheet but also in the2nd, 3rd and 4th worksheets. The
problem, maybe with my formula, is if someone where to delet the text in the
2nd worksheet in D100 it'll delete the formula. I need to make sure that if
they delete the text the formula will not be deleted.

Is there a way to make sure that doesn't happen? Or is my formula wrong?

If you have some cells that have formulas and other cells that have text.
Lock the formula cells and then protect the worksheet.

well basically what it is, is a schedule...so when we have a client come in
the 1st wed of month, then we want to schedule them on the 1st wed of every
month. So if a client cancels, and we delete their name in, lets say, April,
then the formula will be deleted in that cell. How do I make sure that if
they delete the clients name the formula won't be deleted???

Your formulas should be referencing a cell with a constant in it.

Like D1 has a client name.

In D4 you enter =D1

Now when you delete the name from D1, D4 formula is not deleted but no
longer shows the client's name.

Your formulas should be set up so that you never have to delete the cell
with the formula.
