Deleting sheets

When I try to delete a sheet the "delete" command is grayed out. What could
be causing this? TIA!

If your workbook structure is protected (Tools/Protection/Protect
Workbook) then Delete will be greyed out. Unprotect it using
Tools/Protection/Unprotect Workbook...

Thanks JE. The sheet wasn't protected, but this got me to thinking and when
I looked at the Shared workbook command I noticed it was shared. When I
removed this the "delete" command is not grayed out. Thanks for the help!

One cause would be that your workbook is Protected through
Tools>Protection>Protect Workbook.

Check Tools>Protection. If you see "UnProtect Workbook" instead of "Protect
Workbook" then the book is protected.

You may need a password to "unprotect" if this is the case.
