Deleting run and search item history

Does anyone know how to clear in Windows XP Pro the
history list for (i) the XP Run command; and (ii)the XP
search files command??

Basedo on posting from Wes Vogel, I have installed
TweakUI, selected clear doc history on exit and rebooted
(also cleared recent docs and autocomplete) => does not
work. The prior history of run items still exists as
does the prior list of search items. Please help.

Hi,

Start/run regedit, you will need to delete the unwanted strings in the right
pane in these keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru

This works to delete the search history and part of the
run history. There are still some items in the run
history, primarily what appear to be URLs. Please advise
how to delete these.

There are no data items in the IE key (only Default).
Could the URLs be saved in a media player key??
