deleting relationships

I want to change the field size from 10 to 15 letters in a table. I keep
getting the error:"can't change because of relationships.... go into
relationships screen and delete the relationships.... etc, etc". My
relationships screen is blank, I've unlinked all my tables in all my queries
(or so I think I have) and I'm still getting the error. I even tried to
delete the fieldname from the other table where I have it as a foreign key,
but it won't let me do that, either. What am I doing wrong???????

When you view the relationships window, click the "Show All Relationships"
button. Selecting and hiding a table or deleting it from the relationship
window will not remove the actual relationship. You need to select and
delete the relationship join line.

Thank you! I knew it had to be something rather simple cuz I change field
sizes often and have never had a problem. You're a life-saver!

In the Relationships screen there's a toolbar button that shows all
tables/relationships. What happens when you click that?

Is there a "good" way to delete and re-add relationships. I need to change
the field size and the field is used in various 1-to-many and 1-to-1
relationships. I've contemplated taking a screen shot so have a copy of all
of them, deleting the relationships, increasing the field size, then redoing
relationships. Is there any better way?

Thanks,
